Research hierarchy
We prioritize official documentation, pricing pages, help centers, security and privacy materials, terms, release notes, and direct product evidence. Reputable secondary reporting may add context, but should not replace primary evidence for product claims.
How listings are written
A listing should explain the product’s purpose, operating workflow, setup, best-fit users, pricing qualifications, material limitations, governance considerations, and facts readers should independently verify. We avoid copying vendor language except for brief attributed terms where necessary.
Testing and attribution
Hands-on observations must be distinguished from documentation-based research. Claims should not imply testing, customer consensus, or access that did not occur. Material quotations and outside evidence should be attributed.
Ratings and reviews
AI Toolbox does not fabricate community ratings or review counts. Community reviews should come from genuine users and may be moderated for relevance, conflicts, abuse, and unverifiable claims. Editorial selections are judgments, not universal guarantees.
Updates and conflicts
Listings should display a review date and be revisited when material product facts change. Writers and editors should disclose meaningful financial, employment, or personal conflicts. Commercial relationships do not give vendors editorial approval.
AI assistance
AI tools may support research organization, drafting, or quality checks, but accountable human editors remain responsible for sourcing, original analysis, factual review, and publication decisions.
